Seriously considering adding a 3-point cement mixer to the arsenal. The unit I am looking at is an 8 cubic foot model from TSC. Comes with hydraulic top link for dumping. Anyone have any experience with these, and what is the mixing capacity? It says 8 cubic feet, is this the actual yield from the drum? Seams like a great way to get those concrete projects going, but looking for input on how well they work. Will also be a great excuse to convince the wife that I need those rear plugs.

 3-Point Mixer

I just bought a 4330 with backhoe and endloader.
I already have a cement mixer with the cylinder dump that I used with my trade-in (Kioti). I'd like to know how to hook the mixer up on the new Kubota. I haven't a clue and niether does my dealer.

TD lefty I assume the problem is the rear hydraulic link? Is that the case? The other items are standard 3 pt.
Beagle I have not seen the TSC model. Northern tool had the worksavers. The best I thought was the Teagle Beagle.

Beagle, check your clearances prior to buying. It takes a tall tractor to provide room for the 3 point mixers to completely dump.

That is the beauty of the Teagle Mark. The price is very high. I guess we need a NA supplier.

It would seem that 3pt mixers would create the same "controversy" as 3pt log splitters. Namely that it is harder to use the tractor for anything else while the mixer is attached.

Thanks for the input so far. I have a B7800 so I should have enough arm height to dump the bucket, but will definitely check. I am pretty interested in the actual yield out of the drum. The little 5 cubic foot mixers only yield 2.5 cubic feet of mix. I am hoping the 8 cubic foot I'm looking at has a good yield. I guess I may need to get the spec sheet on this unit.

Still looks like a good excuse to get the CEO to authorize the rear plugs.
