I'm considering either a Woods 7500 or a Bradco 3375 for my B7800. Does anyone have experience with either? I'll probably go with a sub frame mount rather than a 3pt.

I was looking at the woods, brush hog and kubota hoes for my b7500. Spend the money and get the kubota one. Heres why. Its sits closer to the frame which mean the entire rig is shorted, more levelage and less stress on the frame. Can be taken off and put on easyer. Doesn't void your warrenty. It was specifally designed for your tractor. I am getting one, but its a fall project if i make enought profit to by one. The price different is only $700 at the most.

Thanks for your post. I haven't even looked at the Kubota unit- thought it was probably price prohibitive- I'll check it out. Thanks again.

I dont think Kubota makes a subframe mounted BH for the B7800. Ive been shopping for one for my L3130. A couple of weeks ago I got to see a BL4690 hooked up to a B7800. Its a nice sturdy setup, but its not frame mounted.

I often wonder, but who should know the most about what they need to fasten a backhoe onto a tractor? Will an aftermarket company know the stress points on a tractor better then the guys who built the tractor? Isn't one of the problems with compacts mentioned quite often is ground clearance? Have you ever tried to load a TLB on a trailer and had the pivot dig into the driveway or worse yet get hung up so that you have to put it into four wheel drive to load it? The most obvious place to start is with what the manufacturer would recommend.

Art that is so true. I have seen the 4x4 hill climb on more trailer than i want to.

To every body else watch those teeth on the bucket. I saw a paving company loading their hoe on a beaver tail trailer. They caught the teeth in the black top and ripped a hole section out. Lucky they hadn't put the paver on yet. Just ran it over the spot and fixed it.

Oh yes, I dug my bucket into the ground a bit climbing onto a trucker's 30' dovetail trailer. Fortunately I was going slow. The fix with my 3ph hoe was easy since I just disconnected the 3ph lock-owns and raised the hoe. Most hoes you'd have to look for a hole for the trailer or a hill for the tractor. Letting air out of the trailer tires doesn't sound too agreeable. I also couldn't get up on a pipe ramp when my 4wd went out. Had to use part of a road cut along the drive to lower the angle and still had to push the tractor backwards up the ramp with the loader (it was a wet day).

A far worse problem is getting them on a trailer, driving for an hour and then finding there's no place to make a low enough angled ramp to get them off. Even worse is not to notice the problem and back one off, hit the ground with the bucket and break something.

Kubota backhoes use a subframe.... it's just not where you would expect to look for it.

For a L-series there is nothing better then a BH90 hoe.
