Did battle with my local dealer. What an eye opening experience. He showd me a lot of junk, but this is what I came up with...

B7100 with ag tires, FEL, Backhoe,3076 hrs-$7950
B7100 ag tires, fair amount of surface rust, 767 hours-$3950

B7200HST-front blade, turf tires, mower, 625 hrs a little rust-$5950

B7100HST-turf tires-mower-real good shape-stored inside-396 hrs.-$5200

My question is....

I really wanted a 7000 series with a FEL. The one for $3950 is close, but I need a fel.The B7100HST would be good choice as well.

Couple things I need from the experts...
Is there a Kubota FEL still available for the 7100/7200 series?
If not, what are the better aftermarket FEL's?
Where can I get a Kubota or aftermarket FEL?

All responses greatly appreciated.

Good Luck

The factory loaders used a sttel brace that went to the rear axle. I'd be looking for one that has that. I doubt that you could find a used one or a left over B1630 and I'd wonder if youwould want one as they were not quick dissconnect. Any dealer can supply new aftermarket loaders. If at all possible try to keep around the 500 lb limit that Kubota's loader had so you don't ovet tax the front end.

Is there is a mid mount mower in the equation?

Some aftermarket loaders don't mix well with MMM's.

Mark-

A mid mount mower is not all that interesting to me on this machine.Could take it or leave it as I have a good JD 185 for mowing. The high stature of the Kubota and my very hilly ground could leadto some exciting times when mowing.

Before I purchased my new 7800 I had a 7200DT 4X4 with a 60" mid mount mower. I mowed a lot of steep banks with it going crossways and I never once felt it get a little tipsy. As far as going vertical up a hill mowing, I mowed several steep hills such as that and just put it in 4 wheel drive and it climbed right up the hill and never felt like it was going to tip. I was surprised at how well it took steep banks. The rear mount mower would probably be better going vertically on hills but the mid mount mower is better going horizontal. Just remember to be smart when mowing around hills as one bad judgement call could be costly.
