 Kubota Tractor and Implement weights?

Hi:

I searched Kubota.com to determine the weight of the B7800 and B2910.. not there, to my eyes.
Where do you guys determine tractor plus implement weights for transportation purposes?

Thanks
JP

The bare tractor weighs 1741 pounds (7800) or 1763 (2910).

You can safely add 800 pounds for a loader and another 1000-1100 for a backhoe. A 60" box blade is in the 450-500 pound range and a similar size rear blade is 350-400 pounds.

What else are you getting?

I'd recommend a tandem with brakes for the trailer. Landscape style or just a flat deck and I don't think that you need to go to a deck over unless you choose.

Thanks Mark!

Now I can size the truck correctly, have to move it to central NH. We'll probably use a tilt flat bed. Hope to close the deal this weekend.

This machine has a 7.5 Woods hoe and Kubota loader.
No other implements with the sale.

I enjoyed your site pics, those forks would be really useful! I have about 5 acres in NH, woods primarily.
Happy Holidays.
Jeff

Since it doesn't have the 72" mower deck, you should be safe with a car trailer. How high in the air will the backhoe stick up in air on a rollback? You might want to make sure you have clearance. I think the height to the ROPS on the 7800 is around 8 feet and if the roll back is off the ground 3 or 4 feet, that is going to have you up in the air not to mention if the hoe sticks up higher than the ROPS. Around where I live, we have a lot of older lower underpasses. Just a thought.

I don't think clearance will be any concern, there is a minimum clearance under bridges, wires, etc., required by law. We float a full size TLB on a deck-over float all the time and have never had a problem yet. The deck is 36" up, and the machine is another 9-10' on top of that.

Best of luck.

There is a law now for height requirements, but where I live there are several historical bridges and underpasses that are quite low. There is one in fact that is just under 10 feet high. I wasn't sure if he was located in such an area as I noticed he was from the New England area which is quite historical as well. They won't let them replace or modify them to a more suitable height. These historical places won't allow people to paint their house and do other things unless it is in keeping with the period theme established. Harpers Ferry is awful for this.

Ahhh, another problem we in the great frozen white north don't have to worry about.

Now if we can just teach the deer to use cross-walks we'll be fine.

One of the boys killed another one last night while on his way to do the rounds with the spray rig, that's four this year, 1,000 gallons out back reduces braking ability significantly. Luckily he had the plow on so there was no damage to the truck. Lots of fresh venison though.

Best of luck.
