 bx2200 vs L2600DT

I was all set to buy a BX2200 for mowing, snow and general utility on my 6 acres and then found a good deal on the L2600DT. Any advice on operability and feature differences other than the obvious power differences. I am concerned about not having a Hydrostatic transmission - how hard is the geat transmission to use? Also, I don't see much on the forum about the L2600DT. Any thoughts on this tractor? Thanks

The two tractors definitly drive differently and there are differences. I'd think the type of mowing would make a difference, if it's lawn than the BX would be better. The way you chose to remove the snow would make a difference to. If it's by blade the L definitly weighs more so it coould push more, the BX with a blower would be better.

Art if the comparison was between the BX2200 and the B7500, is the difference similiar but the total difference less significant?

Good morning Dennis, I'd say they are much the same to a degree. The B-series if the additional acreage was to remain wild and not be brought up to a lawn might be better for the additional ground clearence. Both tractors drive the same and have nearly the same controls. I do have BX's that are doing 5 plus acres of lawn and a couple acre back 40 as I refer to undeveloped acreage and doing just fine. Now if you want to get into digging and pulling tree stumps four inches in diameter or more and have a lot to do than naturally the larger tractor would be my choice for longevity as well as enjoyment of use.
