I have six acres to maintain consisting of half grass and half brush which would the board suggest the cost with finish mower is the same however Kioti has 10 more horsepower but lacks the 4WD and Hydro trans. I must also note that I am a first time soon to be tractor owner and operator.

Six acres? Half brush and half grass? I think you will be better served with a brush hog than a finish mower. You will be surprised at how nice of a job the brush hog does mowing the lawn. After the lawn matures you can go to a finish mower if you wish.
BTW, I'd go for the Kubota. Others may differ, but I wouldn't swap my 4wd for 10 more hp. Most compacts have ample HP. The hydro I can take or leave.

I'll underscore Roger's comment about 4wd. With compact tractors, traction tends to limit performance more than power. Other than tire choice, 4wd and weight are the most important sources of traction. Tire choice is more determined by tractor use, so 4wd and weight are really the only choices. Myself, I have 4wd with turf tires, and I don't think I've ever had the engine give up before the traction broke. Mine, like most compacts, have more power than traction. A light 2wd tractor with a lot of power might be a good choice for a tractor that is only going to be used for mowing or cutting heavy brush on fairly flat ground. Trouble is that tractors don't usually limit themselves to single uses unless there's quite a bit of land. A compact is a pretty expensive thing to have for just mowing 3-acres (I mow 2-acres with a riding mover because it's more convenient than my compact, and I don't consider it a burden). Anyway, chances are that you'll eventually want to do some sort of ground engaging work or operate on hills, and 4wd would become supremely important. In terms, of expanding tractor use, a loader is what really gets use going, and getting a loader really should be thought about. In addition to loaders, many modern implements use a lot of hydraulics, and the capacity of a tractor's hydraulic pump is another consideration when deciding on a tractor.
