For those of you who would like brighter headlights on your B series Kubota tractors Advance Auto parts stores carries a 35 watt and a 50 watt replacement bulb. I put a pair of the 35 watt bulbs in and it makes a huge difference over the standard 15 watt bulbs. The bulbs are Night Blaster part No. 702 for the 35 watt and 701 for the 50 watt.

Hey guys, going with a higher wattage bulb is a good idea PROVIDING the new bulb does not hot enough to melt or warp your lens and reflector.

Happy holidays,
george, keoke

I had thought about the heat and melting the reflectors but I ran the tractor for 30 - 45 min. with the headlights on and no problem.

What model B do you have with 15W bulbs? My 2710 has 23W lights and was wondering about the cost vs. lighting differance.

I have a B-2100. The replacement bulbs cost $1.99 each for the 35 watt and I think it was about $2.69 for the 50 watt bulbs. Not bad considering the difference in light output.
