 Considering a Kubota...Pricing question

I currently own a JD X300 with mower and snowblower. This was bought new in August, and I am coming to the realization that it is too small for my needs. Financially it made sense, which is also why I'm considering trading it on a used 'bota.

I have found 2 that would fit my needs. Both used BX2230s one with FEL and 60" MMM for around 11k. The other has a snowblower and 60" MMM for around 12.5k.

I'm leaning towards the one with the loader, as I would get plenty of use out of it as well. Living in NY though, I will be in need of a snowblower this fall. Which seems like the better deal?

They are both so close to new I'd look at the financing options. Where we are in central NY you need a blower so you only have to move the snow once but I know there are areas that don't get 200 plus inches a year of snow. You could go with a three point hitch blower depending on your driveway and still retain the loader on the front. It does get old fast with cranking your neck looking back if you have a lot of curves and things to move snow around.

Well, I am certainly going with the Kubota. I have most likely sold my small JD outright, and got a price on a bx2350 of 13.5k for the tractor, FEL, and 60" mower. For that price, it looks like I will be able to go with new instead of used.

Surprisingly, if I were to trade the JD, the Kubota dealer is offering more than the JD dealer where I originally bought it.

Get the loader! It can clumsily take care of the snow, but it can do quite a bit more.
