What category hitch do you have? And how much lb. lift is it rated for? I have a 6' power rake on my TC33D and front weights and it will still lift the front end if I lift it quickly. Power rakes are, by design heavy. Mine weighs roughly 1000 lb. (the hitch is rated at 1700 lb. but the rake sticks out about 6 feet including the caster wheels so there's a lot of leverage on the rear wheels.)

Most power rakes have hydraulics on them for angle. Does your BX have that option?

Personally, you you might be able to find one small enough but it will likely cost a small fortune. What excatly are you doing with it? There might be a cheaper alternative, such as pull type pulverizer. But even then you need power, traction, and weight. And they're not cheap either ($1700 up); I sold mine to my dealer for $800 and it was a few years old.

Mine is made by them. It's bascially a blend of other manufacturers' ideas. Mine's a 6'. Maybe by now they have had time to redesign the bearing system that holds the roller. I have gone through 3 sets of bearings. They used ones that had no protection and therefore wore out within about 40 hours. It's built well but heavy. They used to offer a rotary sweeper roller but that wouldn't be cool as it would throw everything toward you.

Unless you have a lot money to play with, a power rake is not all it's cracked up to be. I much prefer my box scraper alone over the pr. rake. I haven't used my pr. for about 1 1/2 years. But hey it's only money.

You still need a valve to operate the rake angle. The lines you are refering to could be used for the power if you would like to configure it that way but you still will need to purchase a valve to actuate the movement.
