Has anybody else out there with a B7800 and with a front loader mount figured a way how to attach suit case weights?

Ted

Why would you want to do that?

Scoop some dirt, or pile some bricks in the FEL.

Reason for adding weight is as follows. I have a moderately sloped field lined, unevenly, with trees on two sides and more trees in the middle. This field makes me do a lot of manuevering close to objects, so I take off the front loader. It's also very bumpy so I've added ballast to the wheels to help out with the hopping. The ride is much better with the ballast, but when I use my beefy land pride rotary mower, combined with the added weight in the tires, I'm short on steering control in several areas as I head uphill and need to maneuver. The front loader mounting brackets to the frame infringe on the ability to bolt on the bracket for the suitcase weights. The dealer doesn't know what to do either. Just says, "you'll have to fabricate something". This is why I'm asking.
Thanks,
Ted

If you have a quick-release bucket you might try dropping the bucket and keeping the loader on. I've done that on my green machine in tight areas.

I've got to ask about your name. There is a pinball machine that has two characters on the playfield, one is 'Red' and the other is 'Ted'. Did your name here have anything to do with that game? Just curious.

Can you install front wheel weights? Or calcium cloride in the fronts?

I'd install a piece of steel across the lower verticals on the grille`gaurd so you could install the small suit case weights. This makes it easy to remove them when not needed.

No, no pinball history in the family. Just grabbed a name when I registered.

About the ballast up front, I was advised by the gentelman who filled my rear tires to NOT fill the front tires.

Normally for loader work you wouldn't "ballast" the front, so if you had a conversation about loader work and ballasting then the fronts weren't part of the equation. However, since you need to ballast the front to counter- act the rear, weighting the front with calcium is a viable option if you can't install suitcase weights. I have a blue TC33D and I have to have suitcase weights with a 6' box blade or 5' brushhog.
