 Wiring Rear Lights

I need some ideas about wiring up couple of lights for rear of Tractor, I have a L3130. Don't know where to go straight from battery or just pick up a hot wire from the harness somewhere.I will install a seperate switch for them. Mounting no problem have several options.

Thanks in advance

Two years ago, I bolted a 2 inch by 3/8 inch piece of
strap metal to the top of my roll bar on my B2400.
I then placed 2 lights forward and one rear. I placed
a switch to turn on and off. I ran a ground wire to the
battery and a live wire to the battery. It works great
for me.

I hooked my front and back lights on the underside of the rops, hooked into the tail light with seperate fuse and switch, one wire hot along the inside of rops, used thr rops as the ground, works fine,{rops up see the ground} {rops down see the stars} .paul

I noticed a small plug near the PTO switch on my L3130. It is 12V but doesn't look like it would carry much current. Is it for the enclosure? Could it be used for lights?

Brian, My Kubota had similar wire(s)--both originated in the fuze box already fuzed with 10A fuzes. You should see a tag marked "max 8w" on the wire. I got some low wattage tractor lights for front and rear (separate circuits) and they work great on my ROPS. Ensure you install water/dust proof switches. Good luck. David

 Wiring Rear Lights

Hi all. Just joined earlier today. This thread is very interesting to me. Ive been thinking of attaching a strobe lite underneath the rops somehow, (Its magnetic but I would secure it also with bolts/clamps), and wondering how to power it. It has a cigar lighter end on it now. Too bad there isnt a receptical on the dash Wink yeah right.Any info or suggestions would be appreciated. I too, own an L3130.
