with loaded tires do you fill the tire with air to its full rating? checked mine and they are rated at 20psi but were only at 7 psi? so i filled them up to 20 psi. is this ok?

Your tire pressure depends alot on what you are doing and
what type of a ride you can stand. I tend to keep the tires
on my tractors much lower than the recommended psi. It is
a recommendation and I suppose will result in longer wear,
but I dont 'work' my tractors that hard or long, so it is
not a real concern for me. I like a little softer ride and
found if the tires are inflated to recommended psi, it can
be hard on the body. Also, if doing alot of FEL work, you
may need even higher psi at times. There is no right or
wrong, it just depends on your situation and needs. These
smaller kubota tractors are great, but being small and
light with little suspension gives a rough ride.

I fill my tires just enough the keep the profile right... usually 5-10 psi. you will actually get better traction with the lower pressures.

Good advise above on ride quality and being kind to your back. My BX went away because it was too hard on my recovering back, even at low tire pressures.

The pressure written on the side of the tires is the maximum, even for inflation! Most tires on tractors only require half that and some even less for maximum performance of the tires and the tractor as well as the tires life.
