I have a 1985 L-305 (2WD). I bought used last year for for $3500. I use it around on a small horse farm to mow, dig post holes, move round bales (on 3 point), and spread dirt with a box blade. I could use a FEL from time to time cleaning stalls and moving sand. My local dealer wants $5200 for a new Rhino loader. This is not reasonable for me. It's almost twice what I payed for the tractor.
I know a 2WD has it's limitations, but I think I can live with them. Being my tractor is so old I can't find any information on available loaders.
I have found a used LA300, but the guy don't know what it fits either.
Any suggestions or help.

The original loaders for those tractors was NOT a quick dismount. Your aftermarket loaders were a good value at that time compared to the factory original matches. You do have a niced size tractor and the price was good to. I'd check around as you could possibly find a good fab shop that could modify the 300 loader and fabricate it to fit your frame. That model loader was made for a smaller tractor and depending on your load requirements might get you by and have the advantage of it's lighter weight to overcome the lack of power steering. The width of the bucket should be wider then the tread width so there is another fault! Oh well I wish you luck!

Thanks Art. I appreciate your quick and through response. This is the most info I have been able to get from anyone.
The guy is asking $1500 for the loader. Does this sound ok?

I would do some good measuring first to ensure the least amount of fabrication possible. The price is right but I'd think you also would need a wider bucket to cover the wheel tracks.

Look at a Woods or a bush hog loader.
