I'm interested in adding a canopy to by BX. I want the rigid type, not just a sunshade. Curtis makes a very nice one in Kubota orange, but the price at nearly $600 is a lot to pay for a piece of plastic. Sims has one too, but it is so big it would look ridiculous on a BX.

Does anyone know of an off-brand that makes a decent hard canopy of an appropriate size for a reasonable price?

Kubota's canopy retails for $389. It weighs in at 130lbs.

That's quite a bit better. Thanks for the info.

Out of curiosity, does Kubota make their own canopy or do they source them?

I can't tell you if they build it or not as we don,t sell but about ten a year between all tractors sold with out a cab but I can'think of any problems. I will say that from what I've seen that if it is to be around wood limbs from tree's that are of a good diameter then go steel!

I checked out the tufftop web site. How long has this tractor canopy been around? Does it tend to deteriorate after it has been in the sun a lot?
