 Top and Tilt Question

Please explain this terminology. I have worked with loaders before and all have had the ability to dump (tilt) at the top of their verticle reach. Is this not what is meant by TOP & TILT. If not please explain??

 Top and Tilt Question

Top and tilt refers to hydraulic control of your three point links. The top link is replaced with a hydraulic cylinder that you can move in and out from the seat. A TILT cylinder replaces a lift arm (usually the right I think) to tilt the 3-point assembly from the seat.

So, I would guess that another hydraulic valve is required?? Right??

 Top and Tilt Question

Actually, two valves are required for top and tilt functions. Maybe one valve and a diverter. Some guys just install a hydraulic top cylinder and don't install the tilt cylinder.

 Top and Tilt Question

We have a joystick valve with two spools. It works just like a front end loader.

 Top and Tilt Question

Jerry, my #12 pic shows the Tn'T cylinders in place on the tractor.

My #16 and 17 show a typical control arrangement.
