 3130 help

Hi I was clearing some brush to make a path around a pond and after about 5 min into working the tractor started jurking back and forth. It started doing this after I stopped for a minute and put it in nuetral then I shifted
the shuttle shift to forward and put the gear shift in 1st then I let out the clutch and at that point it started to lug or make a jerking motion as it moved forward. I then put it in reverse and it did the same thing.

I got the tractor in the open field thinking it might have something under it but I saw nothing up under there. It still makes the same jerking or lugging motion in the cleared field. It does this in all gears, in 4/4 and in 2/4
The trans fluid is full and the tractor has about 220 hrs on it.

Thanks for any help.
Ron.

Sounds like a clutch dampener spring might have broke.

I'm kinda confused about my tractor now.
I called the guys I bought it from to come get my tractor and take it in to get it fixed. I waited a day or so and called to see what they found. They hadn't looked at it yet and would called the next day. Waited another day or so and called again. They looked at it but have no idea what it could be and they'll get to it next week hopefully. Best guess is the problem is in the transmission somewhere.
I did ask the guys early on if it could be something like a dampener spring in the clutch and I was told that the tractor did not have springs in the clutch.

What is going on at this shop? Is this normal for tractor repair? Should I be concerned?

Thanks all

Should have asked this earlier but is it power shuttle or mechanical?

From what you have said you have either the glideshift or the standard shift DT version and with the dealer saying no springs then it has to be the glideshift. There are several things that might be the case of this type problem and more then likely it wil require splitting of the tractor.

Sorry about that
Its a GST I believe that is a Glide Shift.

Is it common that a dealer could have it for a week before knowing what is wrong with it? Usually if I take my truck to be worked on they know the problem in a day or two. I know that tractor service may be different from vehicle service. I've heard nothing but good things about this dealer but, I have little experience when it comes to tractors.

Thanks
