 Prices On Kubota B7510, BX23, BX2230

Hi!

I just got a price quote on a New Kubota B7510 of:

9200 B7510 HSD
2865 LA302 Loader
2195 60" MMM
2500 B2750A SnowBlower

16760 Total

How does that seem?

He also has the B23 for 15,500 TLB with the 60 mower and snowblower for 19,650.

Or he has a BX2230 with loader,50" blower and 60" mower and blower for 15,800.

Don't have my book with me but the prices seem good. Now which one are you going to buy?

For five acres, I don't know why anyone would need more then the BX.

Art,

You may be correct on this however our member buying practices do not support your position in the market. I did a check of our user profiles with the following results:

1) BX Tractors are most commonly purchased by people who have a house on a 1 acre lot.

2) The JD 2210 is purchased mostly by people with 2-3 acres

2) Tractors like the B7500 to NHTC33 and Deere 4100 to 4310 are mostly bought by people with 3-5 acres or more

I was actually surprised at how many members we have with the 1-1.5 acre lots with the BX.

Interesting

I support Art's opinion. I have a B2410 HST with FEL and RFM for about 2 to 3 acres. I have looked at the B23 and B2230 an like their more compact size for my acreage. Mowing over 1 acre would be easier and allow more maneuverability than my tractor. Although the 2410 FEL and three point hitch have higher capacities, there really have been no circumstances that I have encountered that the smaller tractor could not handle. I like the lower center of gravity of the BX series. The BX22 and 23 were not available when I purchased my tractor. In fact I hope to sell my B2410 and accessories and buy a BX23 with MMM.

Dennis, I'm working on some of my customers to get on and comment about the work they do and times taken and what they are using. All to often I see people with few hours trying to get rid of, we call it Big Dreams! It is hard for us to help as often they have bought tractors to big to begin with and they want to go smaller for increased versatility. What size tractor does it take to run a 60" deck? Years ago the 154 Cub Lowboy did but not very good as far as some were concerned but the 184 and 185 were some of the greatest performers in there day. The BX is small like the deere X series, yet the 60 inch width deck is used till you get to 27 to 30 horsepower where the 72" might be used. The BX will take care of the normal duties on a three, five, seven acre mini estate as fast if not faster as any unit that you might spend thousands more; that might buy that 1080 trac-vac or another option. Some people prefer to have more types of units sitting to use for specific jobs but when you can use just one and find more uses to justify it life becomes easier and the garage has more room for other toys with fancy wheels on it!

For reference I just bought a new BX 23 TLB with 60" belly mower. Picking it up in the morning. $15,800.00 plus tax.
Central WV. Called around 200 mile radius north to Pittsburgh, east to Washington DC, west to Columbus OH, and south to Nashville. Prices ranged for same machine from high of $19,800 in Pittsburgh to the low in Charleston WV where I bought it. Hope this helps

Hi folks,

Just got a BX23, with Back hoe, loader, 60" belly mower, 50" snowblower. The whole thing for $18,700. I thought this is very good price, but would like to hear your thoughts.
Alex
