How much are new kubota 22BX tractors with loaders but not hoes going for?

Are these available used at all? Or are they too new a line for that? If they are available used, how much are they going for?

I want a hoe, but they are too expensive, and I can add a kit hoe later.

I'm also curious how much they BX22 is without a loader or mower deck too. I can't find prices anywhere on their website and I'm not ready for any direct dealer contact via e-mail (don't want to get on their junk mail harrassment lists if at all possible).

I was told that the hoe is not "optional" on the BX22. You have to take it with it. It cannot be deleted, or added separately later?

That's a bummer. $16k is just too big a bite in the wallet. And I want to avoid financing as much as is humanly possible.

Guess I'll have to look at other options. I really like the size of that thing though.

Thanks.

Correct. It is a tractor/loader/backhoe package.

You can accomplish the same end by pricing out a B7400 or a B7500.

The web site below might help.

I believe the BX1800/BX2200 are available with an optional loader. Or, the JD2210 has a real nice FEL.

This link should give you an idea of ballpark prices the states pays and what a reasonably good price for you would be. It at least gets you in the ballpark as well as gives you a look at the salesman's cards.

Thanks guys...

I'm venturing into a lot of new arenas of thought, and I have a lot to learn and a lot of research to do. I'm very glad to have stumbled onto this website. Great resource!

Chief, that's a great website! Do you know of one like that for used prices?

Being raised in the city, and always yearning for the space and freedom that only rural living can provide, it appears I'm finally getting a chance to make that a reality.

The area where my new place is, is exploding growth wise. Not too many normal jobs, but it's perfect for the small developer. Being a contractor with a background in Large Commercial Electrical construction, and having spent the last six years or so doing remodels and handyman work, I haven't done much in the way of developing, but all the numbers make sense, and it's time to venture forward 'cautiously'.... B)

I love the idea of being both the customer and the contractor....

So I'm learning all I can, as fast as I can about real estate, zoning, scmoozing, septic systems (that's totally foreign to me), wells, snow, backhoes, environmental issues/agencies, etc..

I want to make all this as economical and 'fun' as possible. And keep the debt down. So, being as I don't want to try and impress anyone with shiney equipment, or the impression that I know what it's all about, I'm looking for the most prudent and 'wise' paths to assembling the resources I need (knowledge, people, tools, machinery, and working capital).

All words of wisdom and knowledge apprecitated.... B)

Be great if there was a course somewhere on all of this. Maybe I'll teach one when I'm on the other side of the process... B)

DeTwang -

Out my way, there are a couple of used (demo) BX1800's with...one with FEL and one with MMM. Buyer's choice at $8500.00 (2002 model year with about 80 hrs)

Willie H.
