 B2710: how high is up?

I've been following this forum off and on and found a lot of great info on tractors. Considered a B21 but can't put a belly mower on and, worse yet, can't get it in the garage. So, I am close to buying a B2710 w/: loader, back-hoe (16" bucket), folding rops, 60" belly mower, 5' box scraper, r4's, and a 9" post hole auger. I figure the more attachments you get, the better the deal you can negotiate. I got a price of $25,500 which seems high. I would appreciate any input or advise. Thanks.

Price seems OK, but then I think in terms of Canadian prices, which are usually big numbers compared to $'sUS. I recall a discussion about folding ROPS's somewhere. I believe it was Kubota systems on some models. Some owners were having a very difficult time getting their ROPS bars up and down. It might be a good idea to make sure that the folding feature is OK for frequent use.

Thanks Tom, I wish it were $CDN I was paying. The folding rops is a mandatory option for me - to get this baby into the garage, it has to fold - after paying this kind of money, the BMW stays out in the driveway....

I sort of figured the folding ROPS was important. One of the guys I mentioned was really going wild trying to get his up and down. I think he gave up trying. I don't know if it was the design or his tractor in particular. Myself, I bought my tractor (no folding ROPS) and then realized it wouldn't fit in the garage--probably wouldn't have made any difference anyway. A 14' x 25' arctic shelter tent was a quick solution. Three summers later and it's still a quick solution, but I guess I do have to build an equipment shed. Sometime!

 B2710: how high is up?

swamfox4 - I bought a B7500 about 6 months ago and I've had so much trouble with the "folding" ROPS that I finally quit trying. This weekend I'll be putting the finishing touches on my shed that I built with a 9 foot high door because I couldn't get the tractor into the garage without a significant amount of torture. It's my only complaint about the tractor that I otherwise couldn't be happier with. Maybe it's just me or my specific tractor, but I'd try folding and unfolding the ROPS on the tractor you plan to put in the garage before you bring it home. Best of luck.
