Thinking of buying a 2002 LB1914 with loader and rear mower.
Found your forum, great.
A couple questions:
Will it run a 5 foot woods brush hog off the back ?
Parts available ?
Official Kito site is discontinued, bad sign ?
What's it worth

Thanks in advance

Mike

Yes I have a LB1914 and a 5foot hog is no problem. It is a strong machine. Parts & service is hard to find.
Kioti is still doing fine ....

I suspect there are some types of brush that would over-tax the horsepower available with the 1914 and a 5 foot brush cutter.

Most tractors in this HP range are recommended to use a 4 foot brush cutter. ....

Mike: A 1914 with FEL and 5ft mower (2002)with 180hrs sold at auction for $10,800.00. I have no idea whether thats high or not but some at the sale thought that it was. Also I agree with DRankin on the brush hog for all around good performance the 4ft is best. Kioti USA is now in a new facility at Wake N.C. and you can get parts from there by UPS etc. if you don't have a dealer. ....

The 5 foot will do fine as long as you run it with care. It is a little big for it generally speaking but it should do you just fine. Like any mower you will have to make the best choice for your application. The tractor will not give you any problems though. They are really built tough and they have 90% of the parts in stock in NC. When they get there web site running you will be able to find a dealer close to you I am sure. Enjoy your tractor. Just make sure you do not break a part in the 10% range. lol ....
