Just wondering if anyone knows what the dash light to the right of the PTO indicator is for? I checked my manual and it says it is for the coolant level, but the level is fine. The light is not the same icon as the book shows. It is just an oval with a horizontal squiggly line thru it. When it is lit, it is yellow. The tractor is new and has only 25hrs. on it. Any info ???? Dealer is closed for the night.

That icon sounds like a preheater or glow plug light. ....

My manual for a DK 35 also shows the indicator to the right of the PTO light as the coolant level warning lamp (oval with a squigally line through it).
If you coolant reservoir is full the sending unit must be sticking/bad or grounding out. ....

"That icon sounds like a preheater or glow plug light"

Ken,
Good try, but the glow plug light on the DK's is toward the middle of the dash and is several vertical squigally lines.
Sometimes figuring out what all the warning light pictures mean is half the battle !! ....

Hey guys.
Thanks for all the advice. DK, I think you are right, but the manual I have for the tractor shows the icon to be the same as the icon on the temp guage. Maybe they have changed the idiot light??? I will call the dealer tomorrow to get it straight. So far, no complaints on the machine except when I spike a round bale of hay, I can't curl the bucket if the bale is off the ground. I have to set the bale down and then curl. I thought I should be able to go to a full curl with no problem with the 1590 loader.
Thanks again for all your help. As soon as it gets pretty around here I will post some photos along with my 50 hr. report. ....

Bucket roll back power is not one of the strong points of several of Kioti's loaders.
I've complained in the past about the same issue myself.
Its been my only complaint in the just over 2 years I've owned the tractor, everything else works great !
I changed my bucket roll back linkage (made new ones) and moved my bucket pins up a few inchs which helped some.
I haven't ruled out adding larger bucket cylinders in the future ! ....

Icons are definitely a problem these days. I wish they'd go back to using (horrors!) english words. The JD icons are not very clear at all - sometimes I want to get out the labelmaker :) ....

Hey guys,
Just to let you know, I found the cap for my expansion tank for the cooling system was gone. When I checked the coolant, I checked the radiator because it was easier than taking off the side panel. After DK said his light was for the coolant I went out and checked. Shure enough it was a little low. Thanks again for all the help. ....

2foot,funny thing about your coolant light. You would think dealer prep would address these issues but,if it makes feel any better, my DK35 did the exact same thing my coolant level was also low. 2 hours on the meter talk about panic! ....
