 Removing FEL from CK20

Since we are well into mowing season here in the Virginia Piedmont, Both my neighbor and I have removed our loaders from our tractors. Both of us had a hard time getting one of the two pins out to remove the loader. They must have been in a bind some way. I tried moving the loader a little bit in several different directions to get it out. It took quite a bit of work with a pry bar to get the pins out. Has anybody figured an easier way to remove them?

Got 50 hours on the tractor now it's doing fine. Luckily I could drain the engine oil without removing the MMM. Probably won't be as lucky when changing the hydraulic fluid.

When we install a loader we grind out the holes check for match in the bores as often they are off and they have a paint build-up in them and in some cases grind down the pins a bit. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

If upon installation the dealer hammered the pins in you are in for a fightin match to get them out.

If and when you get them out do not hammer them back in, do some sizing.

That makes good sense to me I'll do some "sizing" before they go back in. Thanks!

Yesterday I changed the hydraulic fluid. I was able to do it without removing the belly mower. And did it with an 8 quart pan. I just removed one of the back small plugs which I could easily replace when the pan was full. I did that 3 times, then removed each of the other 3 plugs. Had about 1/8 of a teaspoon of metallic mush on the magnet. I would guess that's normal for the first 50 hours.
