 Price on LB1914

I ran across a 2003 model LB1914 with less than 100 hours on it. It has a loader, a spreader, a grading blade, a shredder and a post hole digger with a 6" auger. I'm not that familiar with Kiotis but the reports I've seen seem to be generally positive. I've got a couple of questions regarding it;

1)Is $10,000 a fair price for the whole package?

2)I will be using it mostly for occasional mowing of a 20-25 acre pasture. Mostly weed control - cattle graze it most of the time. It is smaller than the majority of the units (25-35hp)I've been looking at. Is it capable of doing what I need done?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have a 2003 LB1914 with a front loader. I am very pleased with the tractor. 10k is a great price for everything you are getting with the tractor. The tractor
should still have a warranty on parts or labor thats
something to check on. The tractor should handle all
your requirements.

That is a fair price. I sell a similuar package for $12,200.00 - tractor , loader, box blade, mower, Post hole digger...
If the "spreader" that you are talking about is a manure spreader, and if it has been taken care of (that is cleaned out after every use to prevent rust) Then you sir, have found a real deal. Don't let it get away.

20-25 acres is a lot of property to maintain with such a small tractor.I personally would want at least 30 HP or more for that amount of acreage.
The price of the 1914 seems OK, but you may be disapointed with the amout of time it takes to get the jobs done.

Dk35vince has a point about the size of the tractor. I understood you to say that the machine would be used for ocassional mowing and other chores. I guess it all boils down to how you value your time...If a little more "seat time" is worth the $$$ savings for the smaller tractor, then the 1914 is for you. As for me, I would go for the savings on the smaler tractor. What is an hour or two every month worth to you? If you are a very buisy man, and your time is extremely valuable, then you need to consider a bigger machine. The 1914 is a stout, reliable tractor, and you sir have found a good deal... Don't let this one get away.
Please take into consideration that the smaller machine is much more manurevable. If you have been blessed with a bunch of trees and/or other natural obsticals, the smaller machine will in fact be more productive. If your property is "wide open", then a larger machine will cover the ground more quickly.
