Have had a kioti loader on my dk 35 now for 3 years. bucket seems sloppy even from the beginning,Wondering if anyone has the same problem? I just compensate for it.

I'm not sure what you mean by sloppy.
When I want to backdrag with the loader on my DK 35 I have to hold over on the joystick for a second to get tension on the bucket( I'm used to that so its not a problem). But overall I think the loader works quite well.
I did drill new holes and move my bucket pins up 3" for slighly more rollback power last year.

lieber,
If you look at my picture #8, I made a few changes from stock.
I made my bucket linkage 3" longer and added another pin. I also drilled new holes and moved my bucket pins up 3", then changed my bucket stops to work with the differant setup.
It may just be personal preferance, but I like the way mine works better with this setup.

I forgot to mention I have the skid steer style quick attach on my loader bucket, so it may look differant than yours where the bucket connects.

Thanks for the info. What I mean by sloppy is you can walk up to the bucket and wiggle it without the cylinders moving.I had an old international backhoe years ago that was tight. I just assumed that the tolerances around the pins were sloppy. Its not a big deal. I dont work the bucket hard Im not a great welder! I wish I would of bought different rims and tires I notice the newer 35s have a lower stance and arent as top heavy. They also have a better 3 point hitch that you can slide out to make hooking up easier. It looks like you have taken care of all the weak spots.Your tractor looks pretty stout! Lieb

As far as I know the Extendable lower link arms on the 3 point hitch have always been standard equipment on the DK 35. Yours should have that feature.
I have had my DK 35 for just over 3 years now (a first year made 2001 model) and it has the extendable lower link arms..

Out here in Indiana they didnt have them on the tractors,I guess you guys are ahead of us in pennsylvania, they wanted more than I wanted to pay for them, cant remember how much.I had a ford 8n for 20 years and it was alot easier hooking up to that old 1948 then it is to this machine. But it sure is nice when your pulling out logs and the wheels dont slip I was amazed at the power over my little 8n.
