switching from garden tractor to RFM on 4110???

I mow about 2 to 2.5 acres of grass about every 4 days with my JD 455, 60" mmm. The 455 does a great job, but I want to sell the 455 and use the 4110. I really prefer not to use a 60 MMM on the 4110 as it seems to limit ground clearance. I'd like to use a RFM or 72" but my concern is that I'll have to constantly have to be looking behind me with the RFM... Am I worried about nothing, or does the RFM require a lot of head turning?

Also would the quality of cut(s) be be similar?

switching from garden tractor to RFM on 4110???

I've used a RFM only a couple of times. There are others here who will do a better job of speaking to that. I got my 4310 with 72" mmm a few weeks ago. I also noticed ground clearance problems. But no worse than my JD325 with 54" deck. I needed to move gravel to address 2 years of snow removal and I pulled the deck to give me the clearance I needed. It took me about 30 minutes. Now that I know what I'm doing, I could remove the deck in probably 10 to 15 minutes. This doesn't bother me since my primary use is mowing. The wheels on the deck have prevented any major issues with clearance.
