I would appreciate some comments from JD 2210 owners. I posted this question on the other tractor forum.

I was at the Massey Ferguson dealer looking at a GC2300. The dealer said the GC2300's 3-PT is close to true Cat-1 capability because the distance between the 3 pt arms is 26", whereas other brands have only 24". Therefore the GC2300 can accept Cat-1 Implements as long as height is not an issue.

What is your experience with the JD2210 accepting Cat-1 implements such as dethacther/ tiller/ aerator/ rear blade/ box blade?

Thanks

That dealer is blowing smoke up your...... your... pant leg.

I put a 28" wide implement on my BX when I had it and I have looked very closely at 2210's and the three point arms are the same size or larger.

The only issue with sub-cut's is the lift height... so he got that part right.

These machines you are mentioning are all competing against one another and the feature are very similar.

I use a Frontier BB1048 box blade (which I believe is a full size Cat 1 implement) on my 2210 with no problems. The arm fit-up is perfect. However, as previously mentioned, the Sub-CUTs do not give you as much lift, as a regular CUT with a true Cat 1 implement.
