I have a John Deere 1050 and I think the hydraulic pressure relief valve is weak. I was wondering if anyone knows where it is located? It has the seperate pack with the levers for the loader control. Is there a relief valve in the pack or is it off the tractor somewhere? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know on the JD but there's the possibility of having two reliefs. One system relief that could be located in a manifold block and another in the loader valve itself. There's also the possibility that speced pressures are different for a system and loader valve valve.

A manual and pressure gauge likely is needed to test and make adjustments. My system relief pressure requires some disassembly of the block, and the pressure adjustment is made by shims behind a spring. A shim kit needs to be ordered. Guess I'm more issues and speculation than help here. ....
