1957 John deere 420 crawler

I have a 1957 JD 420 crawler (2cyl,6 volt). Everytime I run it the ign. points get a plateing on them so it will not start the next day.I have replaced ,points,condenser (3 times),cap,rotor,and coil.Still the same thing. Does anyone know what might be the cause?
