WOW!! This thing is great. I didn't mow with it yet but the power is huge with the 430 loader. I can tell that this was a great purchase. More details to follow and hopefully pics.

Details-
4310- ehydro,4x4,R3's,power beyond, 3rd scv with lines on fel, folding rops

430 fel- 61" HD bucket with replacable cutting edge, JD Forks

60" 7iron mower w/ all brackets

imatch/ imatch ballast box

Options- front and rear work lights, brush guards on warning lights, block heater, back up alarm, 7 pin outlet, ATI skid steer adapter plate, MS 460 STHIL chainsaw, kevlar hose covers.

For $24550 in CT w/ tax. I had planed to trade in my 655 with fel but at the last minute I decided againest it. So the total now is a 655, a 1070 and a 4310 and lots of fun.

That sounds great! Is your land hilly? I was working today on a very hilly area and I was amazed how stable the 4310 was on the hills. I fretted about that a lot prior to purchase but it turned out to be a non-issue (although I still am very careful).

I'm curious about the ATI skid steer adapter plate. Does that convert the JD quick-connect bucket to a universal skid steer arrangement? I want to get a set of pallet forks but the JD forks are spendy - I'm wondering if the adapter plate and a set of universal forks would be cheaper.

Actually the plate was pricey at $575 w/ shipping but it is very well made. I have a skid steer and many attachments like a snow blade and a mulch bucket for it so I figured it might come in handy for those two, to be used on both machines. I believe the John Deere forks are $1000, but i got them for $700. So with the plate and the forks for the plate(about $750) I think that you would be better off with the JD forks unless you have a few skid steer implements to use also. I actually ordered the forks before i knew about the adapter so I have a pair just for the tractor now along with the skid steer pair but i guess it can't hurt to have one per machine. Oh yeah I forgot I got the 55 amp alternator too if anyone is intersted.

Definitely sounds like you cleaned the store out! Wink yeah right Nice tractor, accessories, and chainsaw. Should still have time for one more grass cut. I have a Stihl O-66 that I have had for about 10 years and it still works and runs great. I am surprised the dealer didn't try to sell you a John Deere chain saw. Can you post some pics of the Kevlar hose covers? Those sound like a good idea! If you are like me, you have either thought about or tried to park it in the bedroom for the night. Wink yeah right Enjoy!

The ATI adaptor was priced right and a great option. They build them for most all manufacturers and they only convert to skid-steer type connections from pin type.
