 Torn between 2210 and 4110

Folks, I'm new here, but I wanna throw this out to you. I have 6+ acres and mow all of it. Just planted 250+ trees, and I'm gonna get either the 2210 or 4110 in the next 2 weeks. I'm leaning toward the 4110, simply because it's a bigger framed tractor, but the manueverability of the 2210 is screaming for my attention. The price difference is really small, and I wanna make the right choice. Both have MMM's and FEL's. Advice is appreciated.

Is the 4010 out of the running?

No! And, I can't really explain why I didn't get a quote for the 4010. Think I better expand the choices?

If you plants 250 trees, that is going to be a LOT of trimming around them. If the primary use of the tractor is grass mowing , you may want to consider a zero turn radius 757 or a front mower such as a F-735. If you have other varied uses in mind then the 4110 or 4115 would be the way to go. The 4010 is a little low on hp but will work as well.

I just picked the 2210 over the 4115 today. The 2210 has those vibe absorb engine mounts that seem to make it better for mowing. The main thing that I will miss with not choosing the 4115 is the ground clearance and with that the post hole digger option. I couldn’t see enough difference unless the ehydro is as great as all that they say.

You have to go to the 4210 to get the ehydro.

I see no reason why your 2210 will not run a post hole digger. If you can run one on a BX you should be able to do the same with a 2210.

I was under the impression that the 2210 would not run a post hole digger due to the limited catagory 1 3pth.
