Anyone out there with a JD 1070. I am torn between purchasing new (1998 model) 1070 or a New Holland 1920. Would appreciate feedback

I have a friend that had the same problem. He picked the 1920 because it has the shuttle shift and the JD has a straight line shift pattern. Not a big concern unless you do frequent direction changes.I will never have a tractor without shuttle. Both have proven designs and are almost bulletproof.Goodluck.

I bought my 1070 (used) 3 years ago. I reminds me of the M48 tanks I drove35 years ago (indestructable). It's my first tractor so I can't compare it to anything. But I love it. It came with a box scrape and a front end loader. The only problem I had was a flattire which I was able to plug.
