my two stage 44" snow blower does not pull in snow and throw out chute - seems to push snow - like asphalt driveway is slippery - technicians welded teeth to blades last year, same problems - after second or third snow fall seems to work fine - any suggestions

If it's 44" wide it probably belt driven, am I right? If so, the belts aren't gripping. For less than $5 at the autro store buy a can of belt dressing and spray it on. It has a mild adhesive or sticky quality. ....

Ah ha! Since it's belt driven also check for a worn belt, cracking and glazing all of which will lead to poor pwrfmance. Also if it's not tight enough. ....
