My 4310 has been very reliable. It's the same machine with a little bigger engine. Weak points? Open the hood and look for corrosion around the battery, radiator and oil cooler where battery outgassing occurs. The 4210 is sometimes considered a little underpowered for it's frame size but it can do a lot of work.

I also have a 4310. Great tractor. The frame size provides lots of use options. Just be aware of the power limitations and do't bite off more than you can chew. You should be surprised with how much it can do.

 thinking of buying a 4210

I bought my 4210 over three years ago and it does everything I needed it to do. I have a FEL and a box scraper. I just installed a Taylor Way 766 backhoe on it but really haven't had a chance to really dig with it, but I'm sure it'll be better than digging by hand with a shovel Wink yeah right .

I have a 4210 and never had any problems. I have a FEL and a 6' mid mount mower. It has been used on my 5 acre lot. Used for landscaping and mowing around my new home. Has never failed to perform anything that I have wanted it to do. It is a sync shift 4 wheel drive. Good luck with your purchase.

I have about 300 hours on my 4410 and it has been a great machine. Only problem was with the battery outgassing and causing corrosion as stated above and I have now fixed the problem with a sealed battery.
