 JD 955 exhaust uunder canopy

Does anyone have any ideas how I may change the exhaust system on my 955 to eliminate exhast fumes from building up under the canopy.Called JD but no joy.Tried to extend pipe, but put to much strain on components under hood.

On my little Yanmar - similar to the JD 650 - I took the short factory double-walled exhaust pipe off of the top of the muffler and replaced it with large diameter piece of single-walled electrical conduit about three feet long. Cost of this light tubing was around five dollars and it even comes galvanized!
Nineteen years now with no problems and no more fumes.

Take a look at the picture below. I put on a Vertical stack that works great on my JD 750

Dana, exhaust looks good. How much did it run to have done? Is the pipe
supported where it crosses under frame and is there plenty of clearance?

The pipe is welded to the end of the existing exhaust and has a bracket that is just under the hood so you can still pull the screen of the front of the tractor. I can't open the right engine sheild as far as I could before but It comes off easy. It cost me $25 for this to be done.
