After making several short trips around the farm, I backed up, and as I put it into forward it felt "different." When I step on the gas the engine no longer revs up, and the gator will not move forard or back when in gear. It is like the gas peddle is suddenly disconeccted. The engine still sounds the same. Please help a farm girl out! What might this be?

My Gator CX has a cable to the governor assy and a small steel rod from the governor to the carb. I would also suspect that the cable has either broken or came unhooked. ....
