Have an 02 JD HPX. Lost power and started to Back fire about 6 mos ago. Changed coil, and plugs and was back in the race. Lost power again, however this time it is intermittent. Changed the other coil and did not correct. now have 2 new coils and set of plugs. Dealer says they have 100's of HPX in field and have not sold any coils. Unit has 200 hours on it. Any suggestions would be great. All wires are on tight as is plug wires. Runs on back cylinder with front un plugged, will not run on front with Back unplugged. Just ran with full power for 20 min, then went back to limited power. Any suggestions would be great

No sir, that's the regulator. The module is near the right rear of the motor down low. It mounts with two bolts and has a plug going to it. ....

Changed the ignition module, and both coils and continue to operate one cylinder. Took off both valvel covers to assure that did not have a bad lifter. All looked good. Any other suggestions would be helpful ....

Have you checked the plug to see if it is firing between the electrodes when grounded to the motor? Also check compression in the cylinders, it should be around 170 and both should be near the same. If these are ok you must have a broken or loose wire in the electrical system somewhere. ....
