Does anyone know where I might find a hood for my 1050 JD?I think a 950 hood is the same does anyone know if that is right?New is a little pricey,so I would settle for an after market hood.

I have seen nothing of an after market hood. I would try on of the tractor wrecking yards. The Yanmar has the same hood so you at least have two options.
The price I saw for my 750 I convinced me a lot of panel beating was in store. I think you might get some one for fabricate the pieces you need cheaper.
I am not sure it the new Yanmar hood components would be cheaper? ....

O.K peters this helps a little.Just a couple of questions here.First my hood is not repairable at all.What size or model of yanmar is compairable to the 1050?Do you know of any wrecking yards your way? I have tried Worthington, and a few more in the Carolinas.I am in N.C.So far nothing. ....
