Got a green 1963 2010 was running great until the deep freeze. Now that it's getting warmer out I went to Start it and it will not fire.

Gas is filling float bowl but not getting into intake. Took carb off and cleaned all passages and ports.

Turned adjustment screw out 1 1/4 .

Almost gives your hand a hickey when you hold it over air intake.

Will run all day with sprayed starting fluid or carb cleaner.

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG !!!!! GRRRRRR

I am curious about how the sparkplugs look after you attempt to start without starter fluid? Are they wet and black?

If they look ratty it is cheap to replace and eliminate from the list... ....

just wondering, you say there is gas in the bowl, is the gas flowing to the carb? if so you might want to go ahead and get that carb rebuilt and just in case, at the end of each season if she's going to set all winter, shut off the fuel valve while she's still running and let'er run out of fuel before turning the key off. this way the carb will be dry all winter and no chance of varnish. I do this plus a fuel stabilizer for all my gas tractors. ....

Had the same problem. Had my carb over hauled by an old John Deere expert. No it starts ok. The power adjustment on bottom of carb will need to be adjusted the get things working correctly. It may take a bit of tweeking. ....
