 790 Front Wheel Play?

Changing a front tire on a JD 790, w/FWD, I noticed a bit a wheel play, then proceeded to check the other side. Question: How much play is too much, if any? Is it possible to take up the slack?

 790 Front Wheel Play?

Is it in the wheel housing or the tie rod end?

 790 Front Wheel Play?

I appreciate the quick response.
With the 790's front end off the ground, the wheel itself has play (top / bottom play), I guess that to be the housing? Any adjustment would have to be inside the axle housing or behind the hub.
The wheel play reminds me of when my Grandad loosend the front wheel bearings on his old Impala, because the calipers would stick.
This crazy idea was for the wheel to wobble around enough to loosen things up, along with a half a can of WD-40. It ultimately ended with a hole in the tranny and the car catching on fire. (A long story)
Anyways, as you can guess, my "mechanical heritage" is a bit to be desired and I certainly appreciate the discussion.

I don't have the spec's on how tight they should be. Deere might have the spec's at there website.

 790 Front Wheel Play?

Is the oil level OK on the front end? I would be worried about the seals.

The oil level is right on the mark and is clean.
I'll check on line with JD's web site or take a ride into town.
I'll let you know how I make out.
Thanks
