My tractor has been sitting idle for a week, it has never had a problem starting, and now it will not even make a click when I turn ignition. Nothing. I changed the battery since it was old and checked the fuses. Still nothing. Could this be the solenoid or the starter?

If you have a volt meter or a test light you can check at the starter that you have power there. Make Sure that it is out of gear and brakes applied/chocked. You should have power at the large terminal at all times, small terminal when switch is in start position. If nothing then check battery terminals and ground. Another check is to use a remote start switch or heaven forbid a screw driver from the battery terminal on the starter to the small terminal, this should engage the starter.

Do you have a manual? I found this one

it has a wire diagram ....

I would have to agree with first post. if you have not voltage at small post with start button pushed check is you have a broke wire at your clutch safety switch. ....
