Little confused here. Is your tiller hydraulically driven?

Rambob656,

Most hydraulic motors are designed to be run in either direction.

Simply switching the pressure port and return port lines will cause the motor to run in the opposite direction.

Hope this helps.

Joel

Rambob656,

I should mention that the switching of hoses cannot be done at the tractor. You should have a pressure port and a return port on the rear of your tractor. These must remain connected as they are.

If you have JIC fittings on your motor, you can quickly switch the hoses over at the motor.

Joel

Thanks ...My pump hooks up direct to the PTO shaft for the tiller. Someone told me I could open the pump and switch the gears and put it back together and that would switch directions. The ports on each side are different sizes ,the return is larger than the suction side. I'm just not sure if I should do this. You know it best to get a second input be for demolition begins .Smile
