I've got a new PTO-driven chipper on the back of u e2304. When I want to move the tractor I have to disengage the PTO. Does this mean I can't use my PTO driven rototiller or my mower? Is there a lever or rod disconnected somewhere? Isn't it common to be able to creep ahead with whatever PTO driven inplement you're using?

Ron234, I don't know JD so my questions may be dumb:
Is this per the manual of the tractor or the chipper or will the tractor not move with the PTO engaged? There are several here who's blood runs green, they will chime in also.

It makes sense you would not move the chipper with the PTO engaged but as you are hinting at, you have to have the PTO engaged and the tiller or mower working and be able to drive. Have you tried the tiller or mower? kt ....

As Kenneth touched on, your post doesn't make it clear WHY you can't move it with the PTO engaged.

It almost sounds like you're trying to say it shuts off, but it's not clear.

Best of luck. ....
