Im Looking for a mid mower for a 820 JD....They JD that is made them from 1973-1978... I have one and the left shaft is broke and I cant find the part as JD tells me its unavailable. I would like to buy a good one or one for parts, ....

Many thanks for replying Chief,
I called and the shaft was the wrong one.I need a shaft for a JD model #397. They (Hutson's) are going to try and locate one or even the entire deck for me. It is in deed a small world as My last name is Hutson. I told him to treat me right as we may be cousins...:) ....
