 Sharpening blades

Can you use a Dremel rotary tool with a coarse ground tool to put an edge on mower blades? Thanks in advance.

 Sharpening blades

well a dremel tool will take you to long to sharpen your blade (s). I use a bench grinder or my 4 inch hand grinder, The hand grinder goes fairly fast and you dont need to take the blades of your mower

 Sharpening blades

To get an even sharpening it is best to take the blades off. You do not want to over heat the blades in one area and need to run evenly down the blade. Water cooling is best.
Depending on the hardness of the blade a file will sharpen the blades and are less likely to damage.
