Today I think a bearing went out on one of the spindles on my finishing mower. It is a sealed bearing which I hate. I never have a problem with my Artsway midmount mower with greaseable bearings. Does anyone specifically know how the pulley comes off? There is a snap ring with a spacer on top of the pulley but I am uncertain how the pulley then comes off.

A snap ring would indicate to me that the shaft is either splined or keyed; removing the ring may, with some careful rapping of a brass hammer, push the shaft out of the pulley. My New Holland rider just dropped the entire shaft and blade when the pulley weld broke. A quick arc welding reapir got me back mowing. ....
