 Hydro Help

I broke my buddy's lawn tractor!! My friend was recently sent to Iraq and my wife and I were helping out with some yard work. Long story short, his cub cadet 1420 hydro spun the wheels a couple times and something went snap while trying to pull a heavy trailer! The drive belt is turning as is the cooling fan atop the rear-end. Anybody have any ideas...shear pin, key-way, gears???? How 'bout a service manual/picture of the hydro-tranny internals.

Thanks,
The-Dog

Thanks Art....How big of a job is it?? Do you take the sheet metal off the frame and work from the top or should I try to get the rear-end out from under the tractor?...or do I concede and take it to a dealer.....I'm certainly not afraid of a challenge but.......

Thanks,
The-Dog

You have to remove the transmission and rear end to do this job.
