 CC 7254 w/Loader and Backhoe - good?

My local dealer just started carrying the larger tractors, he has a 7254 with loader and backhoe, new for $16,500.

I have not done alot of research how does this tractor compare to the Kubota BX22

I also sell Cadets and they are built as good as the rest of the makes but lets take a good look at this and the answer will be in these answers. Who builds the engines? What stlye of engine lasts the longest, gas or diesel? Best warrantee? What tractor has a hydro for ease of operation? Which is the smallest in size to work or even to enter more confined areas? Should you be comparing the size to the B-7510? Which has the best hook up for the hoe? This is just a start for you to compare. The price is about the same as the BX and they are now available again so which might be the best overall investment for you?

OK... I'll bite....

First off... it's too bad that MTD didn't stay with Mitsubishi for their Cub Cadets. They are built like a rock. Have heard mixed results with the new ones.

Diesels last longer and produce more torque. And let's face it, HP isn't important in a tractor, torque is.

Best warrantee? Almost doesn't matter. My Cub has never seen a dealer since I got it. If you read the "other" tractor forum, you'll see that Kubota seems to be working very hard at denying warrenty claims.

What tractor has a hydro for ease of operation? Cub, of course.

Which is the smallest in size to work or even to enter more confined areas? While a few folks might rank small size an advantage... if I were doing FEL and hoe work, I would opt for largest wheelbase, widest track, and heaviest machine. Thay was the criteria I used in my selection and I have never regretted it.

My $0.02 ...... buy the Cub!

I like Cadet's tractors and they are built as good as many of the makes out there. The newer models being introduced are from some or the different vendors out there in the market place. They are as good as the rest of the products produced by those companies and they have been satisfying tractor operators for years! How can we beat that. Rozet, I don't know of claims of warrantee denial by any one. I don't know where you aquired that information but it shouldn't be happening any where. I sell both brands, I just want to get my customers the most bang for there buck!
