 7195 Price/usability questions

I've found a CC 7195 at a local dealer. 1999 model with about 500 hours. 4WD with belly mower, aux. hydraulics. He wants $7200. Local trade. He'll install a front end loader (new) for $2800.

I've seen a 7205 for sale with an out of state dealer for $11,300, complete with front end loader (no mower).

Seems to me like the 7205 is around $1000-1300 more than the used when the front end loader is included.

Is there something I'm missing? Is the mower worth the difference?

Also, I'm on 10+ acres about 1/3 hilly, the rest rocky/wooded semi-flat, and will be cut back to pasture as it was 40 years ago. I plan on getting a brush hog for the pastures, and have no need for a finish mower.

I plan on either a plow or thrower for snow removal on my 1000' hilly drive way. Local dealer says the loader he sells will accept a plow also.

Anybody see any pitfalls with either of these choices?

Well somebody needs to step up here so lets go with it. The 19 horsepower and the weight of the tractor limits you to just 48" of brush-hogging width. Is tht big enough for you? The mower decks are good for 1000 dollars used if you compare them to the new price.

I don't think that all blades that mount on loaders are created equal. It's good to have a blade that is sprung for shocks like truck mounted blades so if something is hit it's not as likely to break something. Power angling also is very handy.

For moderate snows, blades are faster than blowers as long as there's enough space to push back the birms. I think that 1 - 3 mph is a typical ground speed for a blower but blades are up around 5 mph or more unless the snow is too heavy for them. A 1000' drive is a bit of driving in reverse for a 3ph blower but a front blower or blade makes using the loader inconvenient.

Thanks for the responses.
Is the 7195 comparable/essentially the same same machine as the 7205? It seems to me that for very similar money I can buy new instead of used.
Anything compelling about the 7205 that makes it a better unit?

How about some comparables in other brands?
