Hello Jerry,

I hope you have it fixed by now but more info is needed if you still need help.

What does "pulls plug loose" mean? Do you mean it pulls the pto shaft from the mower? If that is it your issue may be simple: first there is a pin of some sort that holds the pto shaft onto the shaft on the mower. It may be a shear bolt if a smooth shaft that is what you should find and it probably does not have a true clutch on the pto shaft but if a spline shaft then normally what you will find is a pin you push in that is spring loaded. You could also find there is a collar on the shaft you pull back to the pto shaft to release it. If the shear bolt or pin then replace. If one of the last two then try lubing the push locking pin or collar and check for trash on them. Often they will rust or just junk sticking to them causes them to "stick" open or locked. kt ....
