If it's rubber fuel lines and they're more than 5 years old, replace them. It's a cheap experiment and I've seen more bad lines cause funny problems like that than you'd believe.

The inner liner breaks down and under much pressure or vacuum collapses and chokes off the flow, under light flow it's ok.

Best of luck.

Hard plastic lines don't often create the symptoms you're describing. If you can move fuel by operating the primer pump manually, but not when cranking, maybe you should remove the pump and look at what's happening on the back side. Maybe something wrong with the lever or pins?

Just the hand pump. It should be pumping fuel while cranking, not just when you work the manual lever. I wonder if the actuating lever on the back side may have broken, fallen off, maybe a pin worked out, who knows? Worth looking at.
